From click to water —
in four steps.
Click&Paddle is 24/7 self-service. No staff on site, no queue — you get everything you need from a box at the station on the lakeside. Here’s how it works:
Book online — in 60 seconds.
On our homepage, choose your lake and go directly to the booking calendar. Select date and time, set the rental duration (minimum 2 hours, in 1-hour increments) and pay online — card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
Booking confirmation and code arrive immediately by email — usually within 1–2 minutes.
What you enter
- Location and rental period
- First and last name
- Email address (important — that’s where your code and instructions arrive)

Code by email. Ready when you are.
Your confirmation email has two things you’ll need on site: your code and your box number. The code is only valid during your booked rental time — before or after, it won’t work.
Save the email on your phone. You’ll need it both to open your box and later for the return.

Three pieces, three minutes.
At the station, find your box by the number from your confirmation email. Enter the code directly on the lock of your box — the box opens and gives you the SUP, the paddle, and the life vest.
Once you’ve taken the SUP out, the same box becomes your secure storage for the rental: keys, wallet, phone, clothing. While you’re on the water, only your code can open the box.
The SUP comes in three pieces that snap together. No pumping, no tools — it takes less than three minutes.
What’s in the box
- SUP board in 3 pieces
- Adjustable paddle
- Life vest

Enjoy. Return it. Done.
Once you’re on the water, the lake is yours. Route suggestions for each location are on our routes pages — from short bay tours for beginners to sunset paddles across to the other shore.
When you’re done: SUP back to the station, disassemble into three pieces, put it back in your box along with the paddle and life vest, close the box. Please take a return photo — there’s an upload button in your confirmation email.
If someone has booked the SUP right after you, you’ll get a short email. In that case you can hand over the assembled SUP directly to the next person — saving time for both of you.
First time on a SUP?
No problem.
Our SUPs are extra stable thanks to a lowered standing area. You don’t have to stand up right away — most beginners start kneeling and only stand once they feel confident. That often happens within the first few minutes.
Tip: pick a calm morning or evening for your first try — with less wind it’s much more relaxed than midday. And don’t worry if you fall in: it happens to experienced paddlers too. Hold onto the board and climb back on from the water.
A note: Being able to swim is a prerequisite — even though the life vest is included.
Safety on the water.
Weather
In thunderstorms or strong wind: bring the SUP to shore. From 4 Beaufort it gets strenuous, from 5 we advise beginners against it entirely. We recommend a quick weather check on windy.com before booking.
Life vest
A life vest is included for every paddler in your box. Recommended for adults, mandatory for children — children should bring their own fitting vest.
In an emergency
Hold onto the board, swim to shore, call us: +43 670 350 0425 (WhatsApp and SMS work too). We’re quickly reachable during the season.
What you get from the box.

- Adjustable paddle — adapts to your height
- Life vest — adult size
- Your box as storage — while you’re on the water, only your code can open the lock
- Instructions — at the station and in your confirmation email
No drysack needed — the SUP has two waterproof storage areas with screw lids.
What happens if…?
The most common concerns — answered directly. Everything else is in the FAQ.
Check your spam folder. On the confirmation page you can correct your email address. Otherwise, drop a quick message to info@clickandpaddle.at.
Check the date and time of your booking — the code only works during the rental period. If everything matches, call us at +43 670 350 0425 or write to us. We’ll help immediately.
In your confirmation email there’s a button "Extend rental". This keeps your code valid and avoids problems during return.
Bring the SUP to shore, ideally back to the station. Safety comes before rental time. In verifiably bad weather you can cancel up to 1 hour before your rental starts — 90% refunded.
Call us. We’ll find a solution — in an emergency we’ll collect the SUP from a different spot.
